Comments: I was with Delta Co. 1/8 Air Cav. And was on LZ White in March of 1969 when we were attacked by zappers. Lost my best friend Donald (Skeeter) Johnston when he threw himself on a satchel charge to save his fellow bunker friends. God Bless You Skeeter. You are sadly missed.

Comments: enjoyed reading all of the hard work that has so obviously been put into this website. I am not a US citizen but admire what Vietnam veterans did for there country, even though they would rather have been at home in 'the world' at the time. much respect.

Comments: Just checking in and reminding that General John Galvin our Bn Commander during that time (69-70) put out his book "Fighting The Cold War, A Solder's Memoir". He covered the year 69-70. A lot of items most will remember while we were there.
